This novel is going okay right now. Nothing that amazing is happening. My plot is devolping all right, and my characters are pretty well laid out. But nothing incredible is pulsing through my mind. I have a lot of ideas; I'm just pondering over how I'll get them on the paper.
Anyways, I've become a bit bored with the site. Don't panic...I'm not gonna close it down. That'd be foolish since I've put so much work into it. But I'm certainly going to think a lot...try to spice this project up. I also need to work on that story more. This site gets neglected more each day.
However, I DO need to get my mind focused again. The whole rush of excitement- with school letting out, summer here, and the beaches practically calling my name...has been slowing stuff down. Now it's time to get back into my creative gear.
So I'm going to try and update this site more frequently. AND I'm going to try and begin a NEW site based on a novel...or a series of novels....I want them to be called "The Girls Of *insert name of place here*" Still haven't decided the name of the place. If you have ideas, oh PLEASE tell me. I've been thinking of Aisla and Celeste. Still not sure.
So anyways, I'll be here again soon. Feel free to comment, ask questions, give suggestions, whatever you want. :D

I am VERY excited to announce, the end of chapter one and the begining of chapter two! I hope they are to your liking. I had a lot of trouble with the invasion scene- I found myself "telling" rather than "showing" in most of it. Of course, during the revision process, I can go back and fix this. The start of chapter two is all right; it also needs some work. I sometimes find myself repeating a lot in it. It kinda irks me, so I will fix it eventualy. Well, that's it. Sorry I keep not updating...I think I'm back in the swing of things. Enjoy :D And remember: COMMENT COMMENT COMMENT! Even if you didn't like it, let me know why. It'll make the story better! Thanks again!
Hello! I am so happy to be back on the site. I did take another long break I'm afraid, and I was even thinking about closing the website all together. I'm writing other numerous stories, and I felt this site and book was going to suffer if I kept it going like this. I was not even considering keeping this thing open...I logged onto Freewebs, ready to delete the site...when I noticed that I had new guestbook signatures. Just out of curiosity, I clicked on the link and viewed my guestbook. And, well, Wow! I had about 4 people telling me I needed to update, begging me to continue the site! I was in complete awe. I never thought anyone would care if I closed the site down. So now, I have decided I WILL keep the site open, and the story alive. I love writing and working on it anyway.
Now, I'd like to explain why I haven't been updating so much. I have NOT lost interest at all (well I did, but not for very long). I still love writing, I'm not quitting the book, etc. However, in the time I've been away many things have happened. I am now officialy twelve years old (yay!) and I had this amazing bowling party with about 20 friends! Then, I got full braces, which took some getting used to. A lot of things were happening and the site slipped my mind. So you see, I was quite busy.
I do love the computer and writing. But I have a LOT more sites to take care of, and this one was unfortuanately neglected.
So back to The Elf Girl: I may add more material to it (probably not, I'm sorry I need to do more planning). And I might add a bit to my bio page (The Author). That's about it. For more info on updates, view Home.
Thanks!!!!
